Meet Dee + Alex
Growing up in London & New York, Dee and Alex learned the power of connecting over a good drink first hand. The act of getting together and sharing a drink was where it all happened - friendships made, break-ups debriefed, & laughter shared.
But over the years, they started to pay more attention to what we were drinking and that's when they noticed that the “mixers” they were using not only were full of sugar and nasties but were also uninspired and made by flat, faceless corporations.
So they set out to make a low sugar mixer, made of 100% real ingredients and supported by a mission to do better for the environment and to be better together.
Why did you create Avec?
- Firstly, we believe that we should be drinking together more, not less. The modern world has solved for lots of things - but its push to make seemingly everything virtual we believe to be counter productive.
Secondly, We created a brand because we really believe that mixers can and should be better - in every sense - tastier: more interesting flavors, higher quality: 100% Real ingredients - no preservatives or “from concentrate” rubbish, healthier low sugar & low calorie; & more sustainable - we give to the 1% For the planet pledge & plan to do a lot more.
